Asaf Ashkenazi

CEO and Co-Founder

Asaf has over 20 years of entrepreneurial experience, including most recently as the Co-Founder of Bravo.ai, a startup that addressed the coordination challenges of brick-and-mortar operations. Previously, he was the Israel Country Representative of Globalstar and was the Founding Director of SHARVIT (ROTEM Industries) – an Israeli government-owned company, and the founding chairman of the Israel chapter of ASIS (American Security Industry Society). He is an expert in complex projects and restructuring, both in the private and public sectors, and has a passion for building diverse teams and creative thinking. Asaf has an LL.B from Tel Aviv University. 

Ricardo de Aldama

Chief Product and Technology Officer, Co-Founder

Ricardo is a seasoned tech entrepreneur with extensive experience in data products and AI. He was co-founder and Head of Data Science at Miuros, a VC-backed SaaS company using customer service data to build innovative products, such as AI-powered analytics and automation. Miuros was acquired by customer service platform Dixa, where most recently he was Director of Engineering, AI. Ricardo believes that outstanding products are born when both product teams and users are empowered by the right technological tools. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from University of Lyon and has conducted AI research for organizations including the French Atomic Energy Commission, Sony, and Télécom Paris.

Yair Schneid

Chief Architect

Yair is an experienced software engineer and formerly was a Software Team Lead at Israel Aerospace Industry. Yair has designed, implemented, and delivered significant infrastructure projects, especially in the software communication field, with high performance and efficiency demands for production. Yair has a B.Sc in Computer Software Engineering from Shamoon College of Engineering. 

Shay Ben-Barak

UX

Shay is a senior UX expert with two decades of experience designing complex systems and meaningful artifacts for companies like Intel, Samsung, Lumenis, Caboodle AI, Electreon, and SupPlant. His specialty is figuring out the right modus operandi for complex products and defining their multi-platform and multi-persona strategy. He brings this expertise to students and budding entrepreneurs as a lecturer in advanced UX design at the University of Haifa and as a Google for Startups mentor. He holds a B.Sc in Industrial Engineering and Management and an M.Sc in Cognitive Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, and is Google-certified Design Sprint Master.

Tamir Avigdor

Product Engineer

Tamir has a decade of experience in both industry and academia, giving him a unique perspective that bridges science, technology, and business. He is a PhD candidate at McGill University, where he focuses on computational neuroscience using long-term electrical recordings from the brain (EEG), particularly in the areas of epilepsy and sleep. He also has over ten years of experience as a hands-on developer, and expertise in classical machine learning from his academic research, previous work with the predictive medicine group in Boston, and contributions at Scrubchart.AI.

Bobby Maruvada

Project Manager, Canada

Bobby has over 30 years of experience in technology startups and pre-IPO software ventures. In 1986 while an undergraduate student at Berklee School of Music, Bobby coded in 68000 assembly language and DSP for music software companies, including MusicWorks, Dr.T, and Tessier-Ashpool Games. In 1992, Bobby completed an MsCE from Boston University. Following his work as a VLSI and FPGA engineer, he switched gears and became a filmmaker, eventually joining the Hollywood cinematographers guild in 2001. In 2020, he founded an imaging company focused on medical imaging and machine learning applications at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Bobby is also an underwater cinematographer with over five thousand dives worldwide, and produces jazz and classical recordings for Ruby Sparrow Records.

Yuval Barak-Corren, MD

Advisory Board Member

Yuval is a researcher at the Predictive Medicine Group at Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, a consultant for the Israeli Ministry of Health on digital health, and a clinician at Shaare Tzedek Medical Center, Jerusalem. Yuval’s research focuses on the application of statistical and machine-learning approaches to electronic medical records for the improvement of both diagnosis/screening processes, as well as overall care delivery. Yuval received his M.D. from the Technion- Israel Institute of Technology and has an M.Sc. in International Public Health from Brandeis University. 

Amanda Wilson

Advisory Board Member

Amanda has worked in healthcare for more than 15 years, most recently as Director of Information Services at Arnot Health and previously as Operations Director at Granger Medical Clinic in Utah. Amanda’s work includes various complex integration projects, including initiation, implementation, and execution of enterprise EHR, EMPI, ERP, telehealth, and remote care solutions within leading US and Canadian health systems. Amanda has an MS in Informatics from Northwestern University.

Werner Böing

Advisory Board Member

Werner served as an executive and board member at global market leaders in automotive, FMCG and 12 years in Roche Pharma and Roche Diagnostics. In 2021 he co-founded a digital health advisory (evisory GmbH) and serves on multiple advisory and supervisory boards (e.g., in areas like cancer screening, precision diagnostics, operational decision support or chronic disease management).He is an expert in successful delivery of technology- and data-enabled new business-models in healthcare and a vivid advocate for the role startups and technology enterprises are playing to accelerate the transformation of healthcare.

Stuart Kozlick

Advisory Board Member

Stuart has over 20 years of experience in Med Tech leadership in Canada, and has expertise in medical device development, innovation, research, and commercialization. An engineer and entrepreneur specializing in medical technologies, devices, and healthcare systems, Stuart has led strategic initiatives to integrate and develop complex medical device systems in the clinical field. He is passionate about early-stage ventures and opportunities that require market analysis, needs assessment, product and business model discovery and definition, corporate strategic positioning and planning, and go-to-market execution. His dedication remains focused on the ever-growing medical ecosystem and revolves around accelerating both the adoption and accessibility of disruptive medical technology to improve patients' lives.

William Jaquis, MD, MS, FACEP

Advisory Board Member

William received his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio, now the University of Toledo College of Medicine. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland, OH. He is a Senior Vice President for Envision Physician Services with responsibilities for emergency and hospital medicine. His interests include developing leaders, population health, and driving quality and safety through efficient patient care. In addition, he has been an active member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, culminating in being elected President for the 2019-2020 year.
